Whether this is your first time trying acupuncture – or if Chinese Medicine is still a complete mystery to you – welcome!

You’ve come to the right place.

Getting started is as easy as a quick call to set your first appointment, but you might be a bit apprehensive – perhaps you have hesitations or concerns.

Bullseye: Target achieved!

Our expert treatment consultants will answer all your questions and make you feel completely at ease.

You’ll quickly discover that acupuncture and Chinese Medicine offer a complete system of diagnosis and treatment for just about every kind of health condition.

We will match the pattern of your signs and symptoms specific to the recognizable syndromes they indicate.

Once we’ve directly targeted the cause of your pain and discomfort, you’ll be amazed at your body’s reaction to the treatment as you head toward balancing your overall health.

Relax! Let us guide you…

We understand. Sometimes, it can be embarrassing or intimidating to talk about the goings-on of your internal digestion with a perfect stranger.

Or perhaps the idea of someone looking at your tongue coating might be crossing the line for you – but don’t worry. Your privacy and comfort are our top priorities.

Plus, the relief and transformation that treatment provides will easily dispel any misgivings you may have.

Unfamiliar, Yet Distinctive – and Powerful

Once we decide to work together, we will identify the root cause of your health imbalance – no matter how it manifests presently.

We’ll investigate your signs and symptoms as useful clues to help unravel the mystery of how you got to where you are today. Your candid answers to admittedly awkward questions will lead us toward a more accurate diagnosis and consequently more profound treatment effects.

And your tongue coating – as well as the quality of your pulse – can confirm our initial suspicions. Great treatment results depend upon an accurate diagnosis.

Therein lies the great reward for your participation!

For Your Safety and Comfort

Once you schedule your consultation, I’ll send you an email with intake forms to complete. These will go into greater detail regarding my policies and procedures. They’ll also provide further information about the treatment and what to expect when you arrive.

During these times of COVID-19, masks are still the norm, and we ask that you please wear them unless instructed otherwise.

You’ll be happy to know we take all the necessary precautions to prevent the transmission of viruses by thoroughly disinfecting treatment rooms between sessions. We also keep the office well-ventilated, and we provide exam gowns in case you need them.

We make every effort to ensure you enjoy only the highest quality experience.

About Me

Sweet Relief

Nothing fulfills me more than helping someone to reach their health goals. The miraculous transformations I witness in my patients inspire me to share this medicine with everyone I meet.

Also, the joy and relief my patients feel when they get off the table motivate me to continue making this my life’s work.

Necessity is the mother of invention.

People often ask me how I got into Chinese Medicine. For many years, I suffered from Celiac disease, anxiety, and depression. Chronic pain plagued me as well, until I tried it myself.

My personal transformation has taken many years, but I can attest to how acupuncture and herbs have helped me consistently. I can’t wait for you to enjoy their benefits as well.

More About Me

Scaling the Scaffold

My training began long ago with Qi cultivation, meditation, and massage therapy – which I studied in Seattle in 2002. After earning my National Certification in body work and manual therapy, I began specializing in lymphatic drainage and myofascial release.

I spent many years treating injuries and chronic pain while gaining plenty of experience working with connective and soft tissue. This clinical experience paved the way to a better understanding of the meridians of acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

With several years of learning how to feel and see with my hands, I excelled in my Master’s program at Yo San University. Being able to offer both massage therapy and the tools of Chinese Medicine enhances the results my patients feel. And if you are afraid of needles, no problem! I can offer effective treatment with acupressure too.

Savoring the Summit

Herbal medicine was the biggest breakthrough for me, though – learning how to treat my metabolism the right way completely changed my life. Anxiety and depression continued to be a problem for me, however, there was a light at the end of the tunnel it seemed.

After completing my Master’s degree, I continued my training with another Chinese Medicine psychologist, Dr. Yang, who taught techniques for diagnosing and treating mental health with herbs and acupuncture. From these experiences, I was able to identify and treat the source of my own mental emotional imbalance and learn to help others using the same methods.

My partnership with Dr. Yang also led to an invitation to join the Executive Council in charge of the Specialty Committee of Mental Diseases held by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies in Harbin, China.

The Committee highlighted my work on treating schizophrenia with electro-acupuncture in their research publication in 2018. During the same year, I graduated summa cum laude from Pacific College of Health Sciences as a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine.

Continuing the Crusade

Since then, I’ve teamed with other practitioners nationwide to offer education and guidance as the Clinical Director for the American Institute of Mental Health in Traditional Chinese Medicine (AIMHTCM).

As part of this team, in 2020, I received an invitation to join another Executive Council in charge of the Specialty Committee on Psychosomatic Disorders, also held by the World Federation of Chinese Medicine Societies.

Our work focuses on training other practitioners to expand our medicine and enable us to help even more people.

Back at the Ranch

When I’m not focused on spreading the word about this medicine, I enjoy quiet time for myself, taking any opportunity for recharging in nature.

I love to hike and camp, especially when the wildlife comes out to play. I also enjoy gardening and studying permaculture design.

Connecting with nature is an important part of wellness. To me, its value is immeasurable.
